A Celebration of Creation is scheduled for May 13 and 14, 2011, in the Avondale College Church on the campus of Avondale College, Cooranbong, New South Wales, Australia.:

  • 7:30-9:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2011 – Vespers – Speakers include: General Conference Vice President, Delbert Baker; Avondale College President, Ray Roennfeldt and film producer, author and Christian communicator, Grenville Kent.
  • 9:30-10:40 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2011 – A brief overview of Adventist history and belief in the creation, paleontology of fossil whales and how different worldviews impact ideas about origins. Speakers include Jim Gibson, Director of the Geoscience Research Institute; Gerhard Pfandl, Associate Director of the Biblical Research Institute and Raúl Esperante, a Senior Research Scientist at the Geoscience Research Institute.
  • 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2011 – Creation and Re-creation: Barry Oliver, President of the South Pacific Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
  • 3:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2011 – Multiple speakers including Ross Grant of the Australian Research Institute, David Tasker, Field Secretary of the South Pacific Division of Seventh-day Adventists, and Timothy Standish of the Geoscience Research Institute.
